Not everybody loves a team-building exercise, because we all know that they can often be a bit cringe-inducing or even childish, but we like to think that our approach to team-building events is rooted in fun rather than too much earnest navel-gazing. So what sort of thing do we offer?

1. We have some games focused on getting to know the city of Porto, with a variety of challenges and puzzles to solve which at the same time introduce the group to our fabulous city. It is a great blend of tourism and problem solving with all manner of unexpected twists and turns. A firm favourite for a city based event.
2. Learning new skills – these are not necessarily overtly team-building exercises, but can be a great shared experience which can really help to bring a group together. These skills include tile-painting, wine-blending, cooking and surfing and can be a very relaxed way for teams to spend time getting to know each other as well as learning to do something new!
3. Sailing boat racing – one of our more exotic options, but it has proven to be one of the most enjoyable activities we have to offer. The way it works is that teams of around 4 people learn a few basics of sailing and then with a professional on board race small sailing boats around the mouth of the river Douro. You don’t need to anything about sailing and it really gets the competitive juices flowing as well as an opportunity to spend time on this fantastic river.
4. Nature – northern Portugal has some absolutely stunning landscapes to explore, most notably the national park of Gerês (around 90 minutes north of Porto). We offer a range of outdoor activities, such as whitewater rafting, canyoning, abseiling and so on as well as guided walks and survival camps (where you learn survival skills and put them into practice. We also offer the option for your team to contribute to the local environment, for example with tree-planting, where the team will learn about the local environment and work together to do some meaningful work to help improve it.
