The Rosa Mota Pavilhão is a large dome-shaped building used for a variety of events in Porto; work has just started on an 8 million euro refit, due to be finished in May 2019. The refurbished facility will me multi-functional and will have capacity for the following:
Concerts and shows: 8660 people
Sporting events: 5580 people
Congresses and seminars: 4727 people
Trade fairs: 2370 square metres of exhibition space

The fact that it is centrally located and sits in an attractive green space will give Porto a venue that should pull in prestigious events, piggy-backing on Porto’s growing reputation as a tourist and cultural and corporate events destination.
