Quinta do Outeiro has a fabulous events space, which was completed in 2017, specifically with weddings in mind. Set in a peaceful village perched on the terraces overlooking the Douro it is a tranquil and stunning location to hold your wedding. The Quinta is a working vineyard and has 24 rooms available for guests (but there are some hotels nearby with more accommodation).
The main event room is the ‘Sala do Rocaille’ and can seat up to 200 people, but there is also a large terrace with stunning views as well as the vineyard itself which provides a beautiful backdrop. The facilities here are first class and as well as the ballroom, there is a beautifully appointed bar, the wine cellar (set up to host events), a chapel and a restaurant, which can all form part of a wedding ceremony.
